The City of Gillespie will be accepting applications for a full-time Water Plant Operator.
Hourly wage will start at $20.00 per hour, and the benefits include partial payment of health insurance (including medical and dental), vision insurance, IMRF retirement, life insurance, and a clothing allowance.
The position requires the ability to work nights, weekends, holidays, and shift work. Certification is preferred but not required.
Applications may be picked up at the City Clerk’s Office from 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m., Monday through Friday, and must be submitted by Thursday, July 23, 2026, at 2:00 p.m.
